As of today I am part of Apeks.
After pretty rough year under FPX I am happy for all official and unofficial offers I have recieved but ultimately I decided to commit to this Norwegian project. Honestly I didn’t know weather I will have enough time to secure a team for the start of 2022 season due to timings, players break and buyout negotiations in FPX, so I started preparing some backup options for me such as content creation to help young players develop in aspects that only top teams really have access to via esport psychologists and other coaching staff. As much as I would love to keep doing it, despite great feedback I will have to put my 100% focus and dedication to competing again.
I am happy about it, I will do what is needed to succeed and continue to grow as a player with 4 new teammates and completely new people around me. Past years were pretty successful when it comes to my individual performances compared to those from few years ago, so I know what I am capable of and that is why I still have goals to achieve in professional scene, such as winning Major and some more.
When I heard few names that Apeks is considering for the project I became immediately interested as what they are trying to build really makes sense. Experienced players complemented by probably best rookie that EU has to offer (chawzyyy) will make a good foundation to build upon. Excited how things go on and off the server as well.
Our first official should be on 17th of January, so we have not a lot of time to prepare but as I write this I am on the airport about to board the plane to Oslo, Norway where I will meet the team for the first time and where our bootcamp will take place. Hoping for productive weeks to come!
Thank you for your support and let’s get to work :)
